See what the Contributing Editor to Black Belt Magazine had to say about this series:
Taejoon Lee, elder son of Hwa Rang Do founder Dr. Joo Bang Lee, has come out with his own series of instructional videos on one of Hwa Rang Do's strongest grappling skills, joint manipulation. Unlike the typical Korean martial arts video that's packed full of demonstrated techniques but scarce on actual instruction, Lee's four part series on joint manipulation (including locks, throws, pins, and transitions) is well thought out and expertly explained, teaching a few techniques in real detail and showing a few variations of the same techniques. He demonstrates the moves himself, and then shows two advanced students performing the same technique while he gives corrections. If you've got a background in Hwa Rang Do, Hapkido, Kuk Sool, Aikido, or Jiu-Jitsu, this is a ''must have'' series for your video library. Each tape also features an interview with Dr. Joo Bang Lee on the concepts of Hwa Rang Do as well as clips of Hwa Rang Do training in Korea prior to its advent in the US.

About Mark Cheng:
L.Ac., is a Chinese medicine physician and martial arts researcher based in Los Angeles, California.
